David Meakin DSA ADI

David is a highest Grade 6 full-time, professional driving instructor of many years experience. During those years there have been a lot changes to the driving test and the content and structure of driving lessons has also had to change to keep pace. In addition to this, the growth in traffic and the increasing complexity of urban road systems has placed an extra resposibility on all road users. David's experience and expertise, together with his in-depth knowledge of driving procedures and driving test areas and routes gives his students the confidence to pass but also to deal with the demands of modern day driving.

With 30 Years Experience and over 1000 Test Passes

Whilst David can be considered one of the more established instructors, his teaching methods are far from being old fashioned, providing individually structured tuition, relevant to the needs of the pupil. The enthusiasm and pride he has in his work is reflected in a consistently high pass rate, with many satisfied clients, 'passed' and present and he has total commitment to the safety of all road users and the achievement of test success for all his pupils.

Our Aim

THE XL FACTOR Driving School aims to provide driver education enabling pupils to acquire the knowledge, skill and confidence to become competent and responsible road users, not merely to pass the driving test, but to be equipped for a life of safe driving.
